All 15 clubs in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) submitted their applications to take part in the license examination for the coming season on time. The DEL announced this on Wednesday.
In the event of a sporting qualification as champion of the DEL2, the Löwen Frankfurt have also submitted their license application.
Should fewer than 14 of the current DEL clubs receive a license for the top division for the 2022/23 season, the Eislöwen Dresden, Frankfurt and Kassel Huskies have submitted applications as possible economic successors.
