With “All Around Man – Live in London” a new record by guitarist Rory Gallagher will be released on July 7, 2023. The recordings were made in December 1990 when Gallagher played shows over two nights at London’s O2 Forum, then called the Town & Country Club. The Irish blues musician released his eleventh and final studio album “Fresh Evidence” in May of the same year and went on tour with it. In addition to performing live versions of songs from the record, he also performed tracks from 1987’s Defender and other favorites from Gallagher’s career. “All Around Man – Live in London” will be released as a double CD and as a triple LP.
Rory Gallagher was an Irish musician, composer and producer. He formed the blues rock trio Taste in 1966, which enjoyed success in the UK and Europe before embarking on a solo career. In the 1970s and 1980s he released music and sold more than 30 million records worldwide. ROLLING STONE ranked Gallagher the 57th greatest guitarist of all time. He passed away in 1995.
