All about next – Création Gross publishes extensive sustainability report 2022

Création Gross GmbH & Co. KG is publishing a comprehensive sustainability report for the first time. 2022 was the year in which we began to work intensively on our own sustainability strategy. The goal has been defined – to transform Création Gross into a sustainable company by 2030. In the report concrete measures are explained.

In the future, all sustainability activities will be summarized under the motto ALL ABOUT NEXT. “We want to use it to focus on what lies ahead. Making our actions visible to drive change. Big 5 – The most important facts from 2022

  • The first GOTS-certified suit under CARL GROSS will leave the warehouse on July 13, 2022
  • First CO₂ balance of Création Gross successfully completed
  • Establishing a strategic purchasing policy for fibers and materials
  • New glazing of the production hall with 29.5% savings in heating energy
  • Conversion of the supply lines in the production hall (compressed air, steam, condensate, vacuum)

A major milestone on the way to sustainable products was the GOTS certification. The first GOTS-certified suit left the warehouse in Hersbruck under CARL GROSS in the summer of 2022. The Hersbruck menswear specialist has been working on a GRS certification for a few weeks.

At the Hersbruck site, intensive work is being done on energy-saving structural changes. This includes the new glazing and insulation of the production hall as well as the installation of a PV system, which will be used by around 71%. The basis for the decisions is the CO₂ balance drawn up for the first time in 2022.
