The most followed female soccer player on social media Alisha Lehmann had a hard time in the last match of the Swiss national team. On Friday, in the Nations League game against Sweden, Lehmann helped his team to a surprise 1-0 victory, but had to stop the game in the 70th minute.
Before the exchange order, the attacker had collided with an opponent and had a nosebleed. It wasn’t anything serious, because the player commented on Instagram after the game to his more than 16 million followers that he was happy with the end result.
– Great fight yesterday. I am so happy with the points I got and proud of the team, Lehmann wrote on social media.
The photo collage also includes a short video of the game recording, where Lehmann, spitting blood, jogged to the bench to be patched up.
As expected, the publication garnered a lot of laudatory comments. Out of them, the former teammate got the most likes by Ruesha Littlejohn acknowledgment of his companion’s appearance.
– So brave, so strong, so sexy, Littlejohn said.
Lehmann also received criticism during the national team break. The Daily Mail according to him, the comment field of his social media posts was targeted by internet trolls. Lehmann received a lot of derogatory comments after wearing make-up in the 1-7 defeat against Spain.
However, cyberbullying is not a new thing for the player. Lehmann spoke about the nasty comments last summer to Sky Sports.
– Many times people say that “women can’t play football, they have to stay in the kitchen.” Of course, it’s not a nice word because we train really hard every day. But they only give me more strength, Lehmann replied to the British media.
Lehmann says in his latest social media post that he is fit and ready for the next Aston Villa match.
