The next adventure calls: Alisha Lehmann leaves Juventus Turin. In her farewell message she becomes sentimental.
After only one year she moves on again: Alisha Lehmann leaves Juventus Turin, but remains in Serie A in Italy. The footballer and Instagram influencer joins the league rival FC Como Women. The club announced the 26-year-old’s commitment on Tuesday. Lehmann signed a contract until 2028 at Lake Como, not far from the Swiss border. She also shared her motives for the transfer on social media.
“Como is a young club, but he has a clear determination,” said Lehmann. The club is not afraid to do things differently, which is a sign of strength for them. Your new employer wants to “become a yardstick in women’s football – not only in Italy, but throughout Europe and the world”. The project combines sport, fashion, culture and values, “and I think that’s exactly what women’s football needs now”.
The German midfielder Ramona Petzelberger is already playing at FC Como Women. The owner is the US fund Mercury/13, which wants to establish a multi-club structure in women’s football. Investors also include Giorgio Chiellini, long -time professional at Juventus and European champion in 2021. In the long term, around 100 million euros are to be invested. Como Women is currently the only club in the network.
Lehmann only switched from Aston Villa from England to Juventus in the summer of 2024. For the Turiners, she came to 22 competitive games and two goals last season, which ended with winning the Doubles. Lehmann emotionally said goodbye to the Juve supporters: “I not only had teammates, we were a family and I found friends for life. This club, this team and these fans will always have a special place in my heart.”
