Lappeenranta Sports Men’s Alisa Vainio ran a half marathon in Helsinki on Saturday.
The time of the persecution was 1.12.46, which is the second biggest result of his career in the half marathon. The 24-year-old endurance runner went half as hard only in April, when he won the Finnish Championship with a record of 1.12.22.

He had also finished his biathlon career just over two years ago Kaisa Mäkäräinenwho ran third.
Mäkäräinen, 39, is still in a bad condition, as the end time was 1.25.28. This was the first running race on the asphalt of an ex-biathlon star.

After finishing his top sports career, Mäkäräinen has been involved in trail and mountain running, but also shooting. He joked in the stories section of his Instagram account that the half marathon went “on the old floor”.
– I haven’t had much time to run after the skiing winter, but I can also run asphalt races based on this. However, the half marathon may be too long for me, shorter distances may be of more interest, he told SUL.
