Actress Alina Tomnikov is seen starring in the international drama series Funeral For a Dog (Dog Funeral). In the drama of the German production company Skynikov, Tomnikov plays Tuuli Kovero, who is a doctor by background.
Tomnikov arrived at the premiere of the series in Berlin. Above Tomnikov was seen a light beautifully descending evening gown, which is Katri Niskasen creation. A pin was attached to the strap of the dress, in which the colors of the Ukrainian flag shone. Tomnikov’s nails had also been varnished with the same colors.
Tomnikov also has Russian roots. Tomnikov has previously taken a social media stance on the war in Ukraine and said he was sadly following tragic events.

Tomnikov carefully prepared for his role in the Funeral For A Dog series.
– I had to sew stitches in one scene, so I trained a lot. I met a doctor and he also photographed me as a video recording guide. I made incisions in the banana and learned to quilt it with the right tools.
– Somewhere I attached the banana tape to the wall, because in the scene I had to quilt my forehead. It couldn’t have been on the table, Tomnikov described earlier in an interview with Iltalehti.
Tomnikov also practiced his German fluently for the role. Five different languages are heard in the series – also Finnish.
– A Finnish character has been written for the series, and I am glad that they took a Finnish actor into it. The fourth episode will visit Tuuli’s past and also meet Tuuli’s mother. Anu Sinisalo played my mother, Tomnikov said.
