Ali B accidentally came into the picture last night during the NOS Journaal. He watched the match against Canada in a hotel in Badhoevedorp together with other Moroccan supporters.
The Moroccan national football team has qualified for the eighth finals of the World Cup. Hundreds of people watched the game together in a hotel in Badhoevedorp, including Najib Amhali and Ali B. Apparently, the controversial rapper did not know that a camera crew from the NOS Journaal would be present.
Ali is hidden
Ali was quite timid and somewhat hidden between a number of other supporters, while Najib continuously sought the foreground and at one point also started waving at the camera of the NOS Journaal.
Reporter Joris van Poppel reported in Badhoevedorp. “It was a huge party here. People are now moving to the center of Amsterdam. It was a huge release here. 2-1 for Morocco and that means Morocco is through as group winner. No one would have dared to think that two weeks ago here.”
Exiting game
It went completely wild in the hall with Ali and Najib, says Joris. “It was an exciting match. Morocco played strongly from the first half and scored after four minutes. The roof immediately came off. It became 2-0 for Morocco, then 2-1 by an own goal from Morocco. Anyway, the second half couldn’t spoil the fun anymore.”
How did Ali, Najib and the other supporters in Badhoevedorp experience the match? “Everyone was here shining and on the edge of their seats. So they are now going to the center of Amsterdam to celebrate that Morocco has advanced to the next round for the first time in a long time.”
