Amsterdam – Outwardly, Alfred Schreuder (49) was always impassive. But the new Ajax coach admits that it often bubbled inside. The inner turmoil even set in motion his quick and afterwards unnecessary departure as chief responsible at Hoffenheim. Schreuder is therefore happy that his path crossed with Ronald Koeman at FC Barcelona. “He dared to let go of certain things and told me that you have no influence on some things. Koeman always remained calm under the highest pressure. I find that extremely clever.”
