Alfred Schreuder about Noa Lang: “Coming to Ajax? That’s where he just came from”

The brand new Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder was a guest on the Belgian program Extra Time on Monday. There he was asked about Noa Lang. “Come to Ajax? That’s where he just came from,” said Schreuder.

So there seems to be no question of a return to Ajax van Lang. The attacker played in the youth until 2020 and then the first team of the Amsterdammers. Then he left for the Belgian Club Brugge. With that club he and Schreuder became champion of Belgium last weekend.

little change

Erik ten Hag has been extremely successful at Ajax in recent years. He will start working for England’s Manchester United this summer. Alfred Schreuder is therefore his successor, but Schreuder has no fear of succeeding Ten Hag.

“I don’t think that way. I am convinced that I can also be successful. I have no fear of that. Players are leaving, but new players will also be brought back. The advantage is that I know Ajax, I have been with the I know Erik’s way of working, so it won’t be that much different than then, although this time I will be head coach instead of assistant.”
