French clothing retailer Petit Bateau has a new boss. As the company announced, Alexandre Rubin has been leading the brand as CEO since September 1st.
Rubin, who has over thirty years of experience in the retail industry, joined the Yves Rocher Group, the parent company of Petit Bateau, in 2014 and has since held various management positions there. Until his recent promotion, he served as Chief Executive Officer France & Benelux of Yves Rocher.
As head of Petit Bateau, Rubin will now “work to strengthen the brand’s leadership in the field of sustainable fashion and make the company a reference in this industry,” the clothing retailer said in a statement. The priorities are “deepening and strengthening the development of the circular economy with the introduction of the second-hand market and rental services as well as investments in improving the ecological performance of production”.
