Alexander Zverev’s behavior led to fines.

Alexander Zverev’s behavior led to fines in Acapulco. AOP

Raged in the ATP500 tournament in Acapulco, Mexico Alexander Zverev has received large fines.

Zverev lost his temper in the opening round of the doubles Finnish-British pair Harri Heliövaara and Lloyd Glasspoolia against. After the match, Zverev aggressively beat the referee with his bat.

A U.S. AP reports that Zverev has been ordered to pay a $ 40,000 fine for his crackdown.

Due to his violation of the rules, the German player will also lose more than $ 30,000 in prize money and all the ranking points he collected in the Mexican tournament.

The ATP organization withdrew Zverev, the third player on the world rankings, out of the tournament. Zverev defended last year’s doubles championship at Acapulco.
