Alexander Salak takes care of his back with the help of bees

Europe’s top goalkeeper who has been in TPS Alexander Salak has suffered from a sore back. Often the problem is treated with massage and stretching, but Salak tried something completely different.

Salak was vacationing in Bali. He went to a local healer where he was stung by bees. The goalkeeper shared on Instagram a picture where a couple of bugs have stuck to his back. In the second picture, there are red puncture marks along Kassar’s spine.

In the form of treatment called apitherapy, products obtained from bees are used. In this case, bee venom, which has been identified Czech media including helping with rheumatism and arthritis.

Finnish Association of Beekeepers on the website it is reported that in Finland the alternative form of treatment is only in its first stages.

Stings are not suitable for everyone, as according to some claims, a bee can be stung up to 200 times within two months.

Salak played last season in Sweden with Djurgården’s goal, when the team dropped out of the SHL. He also has experience in the KHL and NHL, among others. Salak also visited Finland in the shirts of Jokipoikie and TPS in 2006–2009.
