The Otto Group has appointed Alexander Peters as the new Managing Director at Manufactum.
He will take up his new position on August 1, the Otto Group, to which Manufactum belongs, announced on Thursday. Peters shares the management of the retailer with Kai Steffan and succeeds Max Heimann, who “will leave the company at his own request at the end of June and will take on a new challenge outside the Otto Group,” according to Hamburg.
Peters joined the Otto Group in 2006 and was initially active in accounting. After three years, he took over the management of IT coordination. After other positions in IT, he was most recently Group Vice President Otto Group IT. A successor for this position has not yet been determined.
