Alex Pastoor’s contract with first divisionist Almere City FC has been extended by one year. The trainer from Schoorl succeeded Gertjan Verbeek more than a year ago, who was sidelined due to disappointing performances.
Last season Pastoor failed to qualify for the play-offs with Almere. In the league he was stuck in fourteenth place. The current season is going much better. Almere is currently fourth. The away game against Telstar is scheduled for tomorrow night. You can follow that match live on NH Radio from 7 p.m.
Pastoor (56) previously worked as a trainer for AZ, NEC, Excelsior and Sparta Rotterdam, among others.
