The singer will play shows in Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg – here’s an overview of all the dates.
In May the indie rocker released her album THE ANSWER IST ALWAYS YES and with this record she will come to Germany and Austria in October for a total of four shows. On October 2nd Lahey will start in Vienna and will follow three gigs in Germany (Hamburg, Berlin and Cologne). Advance sales for the tour start on Friday (July 21) at 11 a.m their website.
The re-creation of the world
On her LP THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS YES, Alex Lahey deals with adjusting to a society that doesn’t always seem to suit you. Musically, the 30-year-old simply creates a new reality and explains how she finds solace in the midst of the dilemma. For the first time, the native Australian also got support from other artists for this project, who assisted her in her creative process. “I made two records all by myself and proved to myself that I can do it. But I was also at a point where I was like, ‘If I do this again, I kind of know what it’s going to sound like,’ and I don’t think I’m interested in that right now,” she said via press release .
The singer-songwriter released her debut album I LOVE YOU LIKE A BROTHER in 2017, which charted in the top 20 albums chart in Australia. This was followed in 2019 by her work THE BEST OF CLUB and now her third album entitled THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS YES.
