Aleksandr Radulov returns to KHL

The striker, who was once upset by Peps’ plot, leaves the NHL.

Russian striker NHL Aleksandr Radulov will return to KHL next season. According to Sport-Ekspress, Radulov’s new team is Ak Bars Kazan.

According to Sport-Ekspress, Radulov will become KHL’s best paid player, as he can earn 150 million rubles with bonuses next season. In euros, that would be just over two million.

Kazania will be coaching next season Oleg Znarokwhich is best remembered in Finland as the head coach of the Russian national team.

Radulov will return to Russia after six NHL seasons. The season that ended was a disappointment for 35-year-old Radulov, who made modest 4 + 18s in Dallas.

In Finland, Radulov is best remembered for the 2013 World Cup, where he drank together Ilya Kovalchukin with Pepsi on a swap bench.
