Aleksandar Pavlović has been missing Bavaria for a long time. Now the comeback is in sight.
At Bayern there could soon be an important comeback: Aleksandar Pavlović is facing the squad before returning. After the illness survived, the midfielder moves closer to the team again-possibly already in time for the Bundesliga top game against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday evening.
Sports board member Max Eberl had explained in a double pass at Sport1 that Pavlović would be training again and “introduced”. The hope is that he will be in the squad against BVB and will be an option for the second leg in the quarter -finals of the Champions League against Inter Milan. “There is light at the end of the tunnel,” said Eberl.
On Monday, Aleksandar Pavlović stood in the final training before the quarter-finals in the Champions League on Tuesday evening (9 p.m. in the live ticker at T-Online) against Inter Milan for the first time together with the teammates on the training ground. Unlike Manuel Neuer and Kingsley Coman, both of whom were missing. The 20-year-old Pavlović most recently lacked the glandular fever due to an illness on the Pfeiffer and had only returned to individual training a few days ago.
Last Thursday, T-Online caught him with an individual unit, in which he already trained with ball again and left a very good and dynamic impression (you can read more about this here). Pfeiffersche’s glandular fever is so dangerous because it can become chronic if the body is loaded too much too early. Despite all the positive signals, Kompany will surely introduce Pavlović to his comeback.
A commitment to Inter should definitely come too early for the central midfielder. The use of Coman, who trained individually on Monday, is also considered excluded.
