The tenth season of ‘Amar es para es siempre’ is reinforced with a good addition. The daily series of Antena 3 records a Alejandro Siguenza, what will play Ruben Argentoan internist marked by the strict education that his father has given him.
Rubén is the youngest and only boy in a family with three older sisters. He inherited the responsibility of continuing the tradition and keeping the Argento surname in the elite of national surgery. Rubén is already studying the first year of medicine when his sister Clara, the closest in age to him, begins to suffer from the symptoms of a strange disease, whose origin they cannot find. And she, after several weeks hospitalized, she dies of multiple organ failure. Rubén announces to his father that he is not going to be a surgeon, but an internal medicine doctor. He doesn’t want to pick up the scalpel, but to study and fight against the kind of diseases that killed his sister.
After a courtship that lasted the entire career, Rubén marries Gema. But happiness lasts only the first few years. Accustomed to his mother taking care of maintaining family life, Rubén expects the same from Gema and turns to his profession. But she is just as vocational and begins to prioritize her profession as well. The couple grows apart until Gema surprises Rubén: she has fallen in love with another man and wants to separate from her.
It is at this moment that Rubén will meet Cristina, suffering from a strange illness -she has consumed rapeseed oil-, which will soon unite them in the most unexpected way.
