Alec Segaert is European time trial champion

There was simply no way for Alec Segaert in the Netherlands. The opposition did not come close to the Lendeledenaar. The Dane Carl-Frederik Bévort finished at 37 seconds and 60 hundredths. The bronze medalist – another Dane, Gustav Wang – was already 52 seconds behind.

The European title in time trial is becoming a habit for Segaert. In 2021 he took the jersey among the juniors and last year he was also the fastest among the promises. This year, Segaert came second at the World Time Trial Championships, the Belgian Time Trial Championships and the Belgian Road Championships.
