If that works? The district office wants to counter the nocturnal party excesses in James Simon Park with an alcohol ban.
As of Friday, the consumption and carrying of alcohol is prohibited there, between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. This ban also applies to the Monbijoupark!
In the last few weeks, hundreds of young people have regularly gathered in the two parks at night to drink uninhibitedly. There were always arguments, injuries and police operations. In addition, the green areas were littered and damaged.
The district office wants to prevent all this with its alcohol ban. It is initially valid until September 11th.
