Casper has now made it to number one in the German album charts for the fifth time. The rapper even overtook the Scorpions, who took second place with “Rock Believer”. It is Casper’s fifth leader in the record rankings.
Previously, Casper’s albums “XOXO”, “Hinterland”, “Long Live Death” and “1982”, a collaboration with Marteria, were at the top. Well-known voices can also be heard on the current work, including Lena, Haiyti and Felix Kummer from Kraftklub. The album was released on February 25th. He says he would have used the calm that the pandemic brought the musician to work on this work. Now, Casper reports, he wants to “explode again” and wants “acceleration.” The German rapper will soon get it with his upcoming tour in 2022.
Rudolf Schenker, guitarist of the Scorpions, was recently emotional in an interview in the “Morgenmagazin”. He talked about “Rock Believer” and how the disc is supposed to connect people at this time. Fifty years after the first Scorpions album, the band reaches the top ten of the charts for the 15th time. The rockers are also going on tour this year, stopping in Germany in the summer.
Third is Tears For Fears with “The Tipping Point”, fourth is Beth Hart’s “A Tribute To Led Zeppelin” and fifth is HammerFall with “Hammer Of Dawn”.
