Album ’18’ is said to contain thinly veiled messages to Amber Heard

Johnny Depp is far from done with his ex-wife Amber Heard. After his smug remarks during the Fairfax/Virginia defamation lawsuit, he’s speaking through the flower this time. Or rather: he lets the black magic of his lyrics work.

As announced several times, Depp and Jeff Beck have recorded a complete album. The title is called “18” and Depp wrote two of the 13 tracks himself.

So far not too much has leaked out from this opus. In terms of quality and relevance, the international specialist criticism will probably not report until the weekend. But according to the London Sunday Times, Depp wrote the line “I think you’ve said enough for one motherf***ing night”. A prankster who thinks evil and does NOT think of Amber Heard’s interpretation of the riot night with alleged hits and hits.

In the same place, there is talk of further “allusions”. Another song he wrote is called “Sad Motherf***ing Parade” and in one line he sings: “You’re sitting there like a dog with a seven-year itch”; it is inappropriate to compare a lady to a dog who is “in her seven year itch”. Elsewhere, it says no less subtly about the ex’s alleged lust for money: “If I had a dime, it wouldn’t reach your hand.”

According to the Sunday Times, however, Amber is never mentioned by name. So there is plenty of room for cheap interpretations.

Ultimately, the album is by no means just attacks on Amber. They’re mostly covers – including a Velvet Underground track and Brian Wilson’s Beach Boys classic “Caroline, No.”

Since the trial, Depp has focused primarily on his music career. He recently announced that his band Hollywood Vampires – which includes Alice Cooper and Joe Perry – would soon be touring again.

In the meantime, Heard is busy challenging her unfavorable libel verdict. Even if she doesn’t end up paying Johnny Depp $8.35 million in damages, she’s unlikely to buy the new album or a ticket to one of his shows.
