After the toyboy riot, Albert Verlinde was very vague about his relationship status with Onno Hoes for years, but the Today Inside guest has now put an end to that. “I’m so happy.”
What a difficult situation that rutting Onno Hoes has put his beloved Albert Verlinde in with all his horny outings. At one point he was at home in Maastricht having a foursome with toyboys, while Albert was working hard to rake in their fortune. When it came out, Albert went off like crazy because of his TV background.
Albert is happy
For a long time, Albert was afraid of being seen as a kind of forgiving Monique Westenberg and that is why he never spoke out about his relationship status with Onno, but that is now coming to an end. The show expert gives in Story clarity about how things are going between them all these years later.
Things are going well, says Albert. “I don’t want to beat around the bush anymore. Onno and I are together. And that has been the case for 31 years. At first I left us alone as a topic. I thought it was none of the outside world’s business. It was something of ours. But we are so happy together that everyone should know about it.”
Wedding vows
Do Albert and Onno want to get married again after all that toyboy stuff? “No, that’s not for us. Besides, I believe that every day we are together is a wedding vow. You choose each other every day. That is enough for us.”
Albert wants to grow old together with Onno. His retirement is already in sight. “Onno and I talk about it regularly. What our life will look like then. And that’s quite a nice prospect. We have a large group of friends. Real friends who regularly visit us and we visit them.”
Other branch
Are they also celebrities? No, not that, says Albert. “People who work in a completely different branch. We like that. That it is not just about the theater profession. And they are also of all ages. It varies from 25 to over 70. After my retirement we will spend even more time with them.”
Albert also wants to travel more often. “Onno and I love to travel. That has always been the case. Whether in Europe or beyond. We usually alternated that every year. When work no longer calls, we will travel even more. We do have some countries on our wish list. So I don’t think we’ll be bored.”
