Monique Westenberg has let the entire nation know that she and her son flew to New York to investigate ‘what shape we need as a family’ with her on-again-off fiance André Hazes Jr. It looks like the two are getting back together and all the show media is diving on top of it.

off the radar

It is incomprehensible that she continues to seek attention like this, says Albert Verlinde in Show news† “Why is she sharing that? you can too [buiten de media om] say, ‘We’re just going to try as a family and I’m going there and we’ll meet there’?”

Colleague Evert Sankrediets: “She also says that she will be off the radar for a while.”

Albert: “Oh, she’s doing it to announce she’s going off the radar, okay. That’s another way of doing it.”

Evert: “Yes, then you also have to stick to it. That doesn’t always work either.”

‘Every time again!’

According to Evert, it is significant that André and Monique are going to work on their relationship in America. “The magic word is vacation. After the first break it went well in Mexico and after the second break in Curaçao.”

Albert: “I wish them all the best, but I don’t understand – honestly not – why you keep saying… André asks: ‘Leave me alone’, she posts this again, then we’ll talk about it again for a few minutes… Why?! I just don’t understand. Then go quietly with each other… I think it is very good that they enter a kind of therapy together to see how they are doing as a family, but the outside world does not help that.”

No effort

Evert does not share Albert’s opinion. “Well, I don’t have a problem with that to be honest.”

Albert, pointing to the fact that Evert is the editor-in-chief of Privé: “No, I understand that!”

Evert: “Yes, but of course he was raised like royalty. As a child he was the center of attention and he is quite quiet himself.”

Florida

According to Evert, it is not the case that André and Monique only stay in New York. “I understand that the holiday starts in New York and of course they don’t stay there. That there is also a Disney call in Florida. Orlando and Fort Lauderdale are also on the program. The two have been gone for quite some time. A reunion may well be in the sadness.”

Shouldn’t their child just go to school? “The May holiday starts on April 30, so there must have been a meeting with the director of the school. There are exceptions, however.”
