Albert Verlinde believes that Wouter de Winther is seen on television far too often. He is also very annoyed by the face of the Telegraaf star. “He always has a mouth like that.”
Albert Verlinde himself no longer wants to be on television that often in his old age. He therefore turned down the offer from Today Inside to become a weekly table guest. “Yes, sorry, am I the only one who thinks: how often can all those people appear on TV? Wouter de Winther, Angela de Jong, it is a test image!”, he shouts in the latest one VI.
Mouth of Wouter
There really is an overdose of these two TV characters, Albert believes. “I wake up in the morning with Wouter de Winther. Well, not really, but then I’m watching TV and there’s that man with that little mouth. And then he comes in the evening, then I go to bed and then I see him again!”
Wilfred Genee surprised: “What kind of mouth?”
Albert: “Yes, that kind of mouth.”
‘Raymond also everywhere’
Where does Albert meet the Telegraaf journalist in the morning? The program Goedemorgen Nederland, where they appeared again two years ago together at the desk sat.
René van der Gijp understands what Albert means: “That’s really contemporary, isn’t it, that you watch Op1 on Thursday at Raymond Mens, then on Friday at RTL and on Monday here. That never was.”
‘Say no!’
Some people also need to learn to say no, Albert thinks. “You can just say no, right? I get asked to do more programs, but then I say: ‘What do you think? I’m not going to be on TV for every fart!’”
Johan Derksen: “Do you understand that people go to a morning program? Then you have to be in the studio at six o’clock!”
Albert: “Well, if I have a musical to sell, I’ll do it. Hahaha.”
