The albatrosses got off to a very good start and were initially able to pull away by five points. But then the guests got into the game better and were even able to take the lead by the end of the first quarter. Shortly before the break, the home side then played stronger and thanks to a strong three-way quota they were able to go into the dressing room with 37:30.
In the second half, the Berliners set the pace of the game and continued to have the otherwise strong offensive of the Greeks under control. They scored up front, led by the strong Maodo Lo, who was the game’s best scorer with 27 points, and celebrated an unexpectedly clear victory.
