ALBA Berlin pays its dues in the EuroLeague

Alba Berlin has conceded its second defeat in a row in the Basketball EuroLeague and has learned the hard way after the dream start to the season.

The Berliners lost 73:87 (39:50) at Valencia Basket and showed their worst performance so far in the European top class season on the fifth day of the game. With 3:2 wins, Alba is still on target.

Against Valencia, who had previously won only once in four games, the German champions were already 17 points behind in the third quarter before being able to work up to nine points in the meantime. Louis Olinde and Christ Koumadje were the best throwers in Berlin with 15 points each. For Valencia, Chris Jones gave up 20 points.

In the EuroLeague, Alba continues next Friday at Zalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania, before that there is a Bundesliga duel at surprise team Rostock Seawolves on Sunday.
