Basketball Bundesliga team Alba Berlin has fallen to last place in the EuroLeague.
On Friday, the Berliners lost to the second-placed Italians Virtus Bologna 68:83 (27:48). For Alba it was already the 16th defeat in the 19th game of the season. This further reduces the already slim chances of making the playoffs.
Even the 13 points from world champion Johannes Thiemann, who was the best thrower of the game alongside teammate Matteo Spagnolo, could not prevent Alba’s fourth defeat in a row.
