Alba will play his last league game of the season on Thursday. In terms of sport, however, the game at medi Bayreuth (7 p.m.) is meaningless.
Bayreuth has been relegated, Alba will probably remain second in the table. “We know we are playing for the golden lemon there. It’s about nothing. And still, we should try to use that,” Manager said Marco Baldi.
Because for Baldi, such games also have a certain risk. “The big danger is that if you don’t go into games with maximum tension, focus and intensity, you’ll lose more than just one game,” he said. Trainer Israel Gonzalez therefore warns of the opponent. “They’re going to try to say goodbye to their fans as best they can at home,” said the Spaniard.
