Al Nassr and Al Ain faced each other in the AFC Champions League quarter-final rematch.
Al Nassr, who lost 1-0 in the first match, managed to take the round to penalties by winning the regular time of the match 3-2 and the extra time 4-3.
Having a 3-1 advantage in the penalties, Al Ain made its name into the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League.
Al Nassr’s goals were scored by Ghareeb in the 45+5 minute, Saeed’s own goal in the 51st minute, Telles in the 72nd minute and Cristiano Ronaldo from the penalty spot in the 118th minute, while the guest team’s goals were scored by Rahimi in the 28th and 45th minutes, and Al Shamsi in the 103rd minute.
While Ronaldo converted the shot into a goal on the Al Nassr side in the penalties; Brozovic, Telles and Otavio could not benefit from the shot.
In Al Ain, Rahimi, Romero and Al Shamsi did not make a mistake in the penalty shootout.
