The start of Ajax was still disastrous in Heerenveen. Goals from Janneke Ennema and Jet van Beijeren seemed to make the Frisians sit on roses: 2-0. A quick red card from Merel Bormans helped the team from Amsterdam back in the saddle. Ashleigh Weerden made the connection goal before the break: 2-1.

Ajax then thundered over Heerenveen in the second half. Lisa Doorn, Sherida Spitse, Eshly Bakker and Elisha Kruize scored the Amsterdam goals. The lead is in the hands of Ajax due to the victory, but FC Twente will play against ADO Den Haag on Sunday.
