Ajax with Brobbey and Álvarez against FC Groningen
Brian Brobbey and Edson Álvarez have a basic place at Ajax in the second league match of the season, at home against FC Groningen. As a substitute last week, Brobbey had an important share in the victory over Fortuna Sittard (2-3). Trainer Alfred Schreuder has now put the striker in the base and that is at the expense of Steven Berghuis. The international of Orange starts at 2.30 pm on the bench, just like Davy Klaassen, among others.
Mexican midfielder Álvarez returns to the Amsterdam team after a suspension. As a result, Daley Blind moves back a line again and forms the central defense duo together with Jurriën Timber.
