Mexican right back Jorge Sánchez will become an Ajax player, his current employer confirms Club America. The 24-year-old Sánchez is traveling to Amsterdam today to undergo a medical examination, and if the outcome is good, he will sign his contract.
According to The Telegraph Ajax pays five million euros plus half a million euros in bonuses for the services of the Mexican. According to the newspaper, Sánchez will sign a contract for five seasons in Amsterdam, until mid-2027.

After the transfer-free departure of Noussair Mazraoui to Bayern Munich, Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder was still looking for a replacement at right back. With Sánchez, the team from Amsterdam brings in an experienced competitor for Devyne Rensch. He played 150 games for Club América, scoring twice and providing eight assists.
