In the middle of last week, a name made the rounds on Säbener Strasse that had never been associated with FC Bayern before: Ryan Gravenberch.
The Dutch newspaper “Algemeen Dagblad” reported on the advances of the German record champion, who is said to be totally enthusiastic about the skills of the 19-year-old Ajax jewel.
Gradually, the German media also picked up the rumor, and both “kicker” and “Sport1” have now confirmed the Munich mind games.
At first, however, it was said that the transfer demands from Amsterdam could become a problem. The Dutch top club is said to have called a proud 30 million euros despite the short remaining contract period.

According to the latest information from Holland, the deal has come much closer in the past few days. “ADEditor Hugo Borst revealed in a column that Gravenberch “absolutely wants to switch to Bayern” and is said to have already agreed to the Bundesliga club.
Shortly thereafter, Mike Verweij from “Telegraaf” confirmed the report. “FC Bayern presented their agent with a very good plan and he made his decision,” said the journalist, describing the current state of affairs at Gravenberch.
In terms of sport, the youngster could be a good fit for the Munich team: this season, the strong eighth player has played 30 competitive games for Ajax (one goal, four assists).
