Jay Gorter finishes the season in Scotland. The Ajax goalkeeper is rented out to Aberdeen for the rest of the season.
Gorter came over from Go Ahead Eagles in the summer of 2021, but has not yet succeeded in becoming the first goalkeeper in Amsterdam. This season he did keep in the battle for the Johan Cruijff Scale. In that match (3-5), Gorter did not make a good impression against PSV.
In the Eredivisie and the Champions League, he had to tolerate Remko Pasveer. Gerónimo Rulli has now been recruited by Ajax, making Gorter the fourth goalkeeper behind Rulli, Pasveer and Maarten Stekelenburg.
The goalkeeper will fly to Scotland today to finalize the loan deal. Aberdeen is the current number seven in Scotland. Compatriot Kelle Roos is normally the first goalkeeper at Aberdeen. Vicente Besuijen also plays for the Scottish club
