Ajax footballer Dusan Tadic was slightly injured in a violent robbery near his home in Amsterdam South. The robbers were probably after a valuable watch of the footballer at the end of July, reports The Telegraph.
Tadic was met at his house in the night of Wednesday July 27 to Thursday July 28 by two armed men with helmets on. The robbers were probably after a valuable watch of the footballer.
The two men approached Tadic in Van Eeghenstraat when he got out of his car. The Ajax player immediately realized that something was wrong and tried to flee. After a short chase, a scuffle with the robbers ensued. Tadic managed to open the visor of the helmet of one of the robbers and slap him.
The footballer suffered minor injuries to his hand and tore his clothing. He eventually managed to flee into a catering facility. After the struggle, the robbers took off on a scooter in the direction of Koninginneweg. To prevent another robbery, Tadic has taken extra security measures.
