Good news for Ajax in the run-up to the cup final against PSV. Central defender Lisandro Martínez is available again on Sunday after two games absence. Noussair Mazraoui also trained today, but he is in doubt.
Martínez was in Argentina last weekend due to family circumstances, reports Ajax Showtime† He therefore missed the home game against Sparta Rotterdam. The defender was previously absent against FC Groningen due to his injury. On Wednesday, the Argentinian fully trained again.
There is less clarity about Mazraoui. He was missing against Sparta on Saturday, but was back on the training field this afternoon. The right back has four days to get match fit for the cup final in Rotterdam.
Injuries PSV
PSV in any case cannot have Olivier Boscagli. The defender is out for the rest of the season. Striker Noni Madueke misses the Conference League game with Leicester City tomorrow night and is in doubt for the final.
On Friday, Ajax coach Erik ten Hag and captain Dusan Tadic will give a press conference in the run-up to the squatter against PSV.
