Naci Ünüvar will leave for Turkey with immediate effect. The nineteen-year-old trendsetter of Jong Ajax will play on a rental basis for Trabzonspor.
The Turkish national champion has reached an agreement with Ajax to hire the creative midfielder for one year. In Amsterdam, the contract will continue until the summer of 2026.
Ünüvar has played three matches in Ajax’s main squad so far. In addition, he played 73 times for Jong Ajax and scored 24 goals.
No Champions League
With the switch to Trabzonspor, Ünüvar will have to settle for the Europa League. Less than a week ago, FC Copenhagen managed to eliminate the team from Turkey in the last preliminary round of the million-dollar ball.
