The classic Ajax-Feyenoord classic in Dutch football was seen in a wild situation on Sunday.
The top match was about to begin in Ajax’s home field in Amsterdam when a banner in a crowded auditorium caught fire.
The situation began when several torches were lit near the field. Thick smoke began to dust from the bottom of the auditorium.
A banner attached to the bottom flared in flames. One of the torches apparently hit the banner and a spark ignited the fire.
The auditorium behind the paint was quickly filled with black smoke. The players who had already arrived on the field watched the firefighting work next to him.

Fortunately, the fire was quickly extinguished.
Lajilegenda Johan Cruijffin the stadium named it had 54,709 spectators on Sunday. According to Mirror no one was injured in the wild-looking incident.
The start of the match was postponed slightly due to extinguishing work. Ajax won the game 3–2.
Ajax is the reigning champion and leads the series. Feyenoord is third, 11 points from the top.
