Tense staff situation
Due to the injuries to Maarten Stekelenburg (39), Remko Pasveer (38) and Jay Gorter (21), André Onana (25) is currently the only fit goalkeeper left in the Ajax Amsterdam squad. The 35-year-old has been without a club since the beginning of the year after his contract with FC Cincinnati ended. In the 2015/16 season, the 14-time Polish national keeper was active at VfB Stuttgart, for whom he played 33 compulsory games. Ajax is the eighth professional stop in his career and the third in the Netherlands after Roda JC Kerkrade and PSV Eindhoven.
Ajax has signed goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton on a deal that will run until the end of the season.
