Ajax Amsterdam legend: Van der Sar can leave the intensive care unit

Edwin van der Sar, former Dutch national soccer goalkeeper, was able to leave the intensive care unit after suffering a brain haemorrhage.

The Dutch goalkeeper legend spoke up for the first time since his brain hemorrhage on Tuesday (07/18/2023) and was able to spread good news about his state of health on social media. Accordingly, the 52-year-old left the intensive care unit.

Brain haemorrhage on holiday in Croatia
