The next European opponent for Ajax is Bodo/Glimt. The Amsterdam team will play against the Norwegians in the interim round of the Conference League. John van ‘t Schip’s team first starts with a home match on Thursday, February 15.
Ajax reached the intermediate round of the Conference League after a 3-1 victory over AEK Athens in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday. That meant third place in the group for the Amsterdam team and they will continue in the Conference League. Opponent Bodo/Glimt finished number two in their group of the Conference League. The Norwegian champion left clubs such as Besiktas and Lugano behind him, Club Brugge came first.

The intermediate round of the Conference League will be played on February 15 and 22. With a win, Ajax will qualify for the knockout phase of this third European tournament. The matches in the eighth finals will take place on March 7 and 14.
