Aíto de la Rúa: business, love and mystical turn

At the end of 2021, the De la Rua They had a meeting with the whole family. I was Ines Pertinethe widow of Fernando de la Rua, his three children, grandchildren, uncles and nephews. The meeting was for the extended clan to catch up after two years of pandemic and Aito de la Rua, the smallest, was the one that brought the most news to the table. He told his family about his travels around the world, about the spiritual journey that he had started first through yoga and later with different alternative therapies, and about the company he had created to promote research with hallucinogens. Furthermore, he invited as a guest Calu Rivero and formalized his relationship with the actress who, according to relatives, immediately got along with everyone. For this reason, the recent news of her pregnancy did nothing but cheer up the environment. “They’re happy. A few months ago they were already wanting to search, so it was planned,” says a friend.

Aito and Calu They had been in a relationship in 2008, but soon broke up. In the years they were apart, however, their personal pursuits were similar. The two turned fully to the mystical universe and self-knowledge, areas in which they found new ways of living and, also, job and economic opportunities.

The actress, in the last year, dictated a virtual workshop “to reach the inner light”, whose registration was around $15,000and published the bookOpen your doors, a simple method for your well-being”. He, for his part, founded the Spinoza company, based in Uruguay, to promote research on hallucinogens -and to support them with financing-. On its site, the company presents itself as a space where “psychedelic experiences for conscious transformation” are offered. “Learn how to change your mind and connect with your body,” says the welcome message.

The couple keeps a low profile and prefers not to speak to the press. However, they do feel comfortable on their own social networks, where they constantly post related to their spiritual pursuits. In his latest post on Instagram, Aíto appears in a photo with a piluso, on his back and touching a giant tree: “How nice it is to talk to trees. Ask, wait and listen quietly for their answer. Telepathy, they say. I imagined it was a story, but it really works. Magic is real”, wrote.

In his profile, the mystical is combined with the scientific. In fact, in another of his publications he appears as a volunteer for a project called “Fungi & Mind Evolution”led by the Argentine neuroscientist and Conicet researcher, Enzo Tagliazucchi.

“For the past two years, we have been supporting Enzo in his quest to collect the data necessary to support our intuitive notions. That is why we are always happy to help. Not only financially, but also with practical contributions. And so, one of our founders, Aíto de la Rúa, kindly volunteered to participate personally and even let us take a look at the workings of his brain via MRI,” they wrote from the Spinoza company.

Aito and calu

The natural and the magical is a constant in Aíto’s feed, who reflects on the importance of connecting with the simple -always in English and, in most cases, with posts about his exotic trips around the world-.

Lisbon, Amsterdam, Sawyer Lake in the United States, Sri Lanka, the Sahara desert and the Balearic Islands are just some of the destinations he traveled before the pandemic began. In some of those places she thanked the sun and in others she reprogrammed herself with the stars. His acquaintances define him as a “trotter” and say that, since the pandemic began, he settled in Uruguay, although no one knows if he will stay permanently.

The influence on Aito

In Aíto’s feed, the presence of his father is constant. On every important occasion, on an anniversary or at parties, he remembers him with a photo and a message. On July 9, 2021, Aíto thanked him for the influence that led him to venture into the hallucinogenic world and, finally, to create his company: “You told me one day sitting at sunset while we were talking about God reading Spinoza. I asked you who he was and you replied: ‘Einstein believed in Spinoza’s God’. Today marks the 2nd anniversary of your departure and here I am in the Netherlands, hometown of this great philosopher, remembering you happy with his figure. Your advice led me to investigate his idea of God in Nature and synchronically today, national day and your anniversary, is also the day I start a new idea inspired by that afternoon of philosophy that opened doors to a new perception. Thank you father”.

On the way to being a father together with Calu, Aíto’s friends they repeat that he is happy. When the news broke, the actress posted a photo with the word from Greek mythology “Kairós”, which translates as “right and opportune time”. At that moment they seem to be.
