Airplane crashes in Calandkanaal in Rotterdam, no survivors | Abroad

Debris with the registration number of a small aircraft was found on the spot. It is not yet clear what type of device it concerns. What is known is that the plane had taken off in eastern Germany earlier in the day and that it was en route to France.

Items of clothing were found at the accident site. An oil trail is also visible. Emergency services have been dispatched to search for the two victims, but have ruled out the possibility of any survivors. The coastguard, the fire brigade and divers are among others present. Helicopters are also used.
