Airlines not happy about the intention to reduce flights at Schiphol

Airlines are not happy with the intention of the Dutch cabinet to structurally reduce the number of aircraft movements at Schiphol to 440,000 per year. “It seems very likely that the cabinet is deliberately trying to kill aviation and thereby make the Netherlands the ugly duckling of Europe,” says chairman Marnix Fruitema of BARIN, the association of airlines active in the Netherlands.
