Air travelers stuck in Moscow | Abroad

The plane turned around near Copenhagen. This would be the result of the exclusion of Russian airlines from European airspace. As a result, about forty Belgians are stuck at Moscow airport, according to VTM. They say they have no food, no drink and their credit cards no longer work in Russia. “We are being abandoned in a war zone,” said one of the travelers in an audio message to VTM Nieuws.

According to the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the people who are detained should contact the embassy as soon as possible. However, a direct flight will no longer be possible. What is possible: fly to a country that has not yet closed its airspace, such as Turkey, and then book a flight to Belgium with a non-Russian aircraft.
