Because of the defusing of a bomb, there should be restrictions on the S-Bahn line S2 in the Marienfelde section on Thursday evening.
From around 8 p.m., the Buckower Chaussee stop will no longer be available, as a spokesman for Deutsche Bahn announced.
All other stops should initially be approached as usual. A replacement bus service could not be offered due to the size and location of the restricted area.
A spokesman for the Berlin police confirmed that the bomb had been found in the evening. There were initially no further details about the bomb find, the size of the blockage and possible effects on local residents.
