After the Clubs Union Foundation meeting, Ahmet Ağaoğlu and Mehmet Büyükekşi made statements.
Highlights from the statements are as follows:
Ahmet Agaoglu:
Our chairmen who attended the meeting left us early because they were going to attend another meeting. I’d appreciate it if there was no speculation.
Mehmet Büyükekşi is not far from football. He is a person who saw the problems with us during the Gaziantep FK period. We have reached a consensus on almost everything.
We agreed on the foreign rule and the broadcasting tender to be resolved as soon as possible. We had a productive meeting.
The 8+3 rule should continue for at least one more year.
Whether there will be 14 foreigners or 11 foreigners in the squad is also important. The clubs conveyed their demands and opinions. Our goal is to provide an immediate unity in this regard.
Mehmet Buyukeksi:
A bird cannot fly with one wing. If one wing is clubs, the other wing is the federation. Not only in the Super League, every club from the amateur to the top is important. Every club has its own problems.
All of our clubs said they would support me inside.
I know the problems very well. We will solve all problems together. We will work with all clubs. Especially the clubs have economic problems. Due to this problem, not many football players are trained from the infrastructures.
When the election is over, everything is over. Our most important supporters will be our clubs. We want to open TFF to internal and external audit. If we spend the time, we will do good work.
There are claims about my list on social media, don’t believe it. Our list is unclear. Hopefully it will be on Wednesday night. We would like to include our friends who will do good works and have good features. We offered Mehmet Sepil a position to the president, but it will not happen.
