Ahlers AG has appointed Anna-Lena Schulte-Angels as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She will take up her new role on April 1st, the Herford-based clothing company announced on Tuesday.
Schulte-Angels succeeds Simon Tabler, who left Ahlers AG “prematurely at his own request” in December. As early as October, the clothing group announced that it had found a successor for the finance department, but only now revealed who it is. In addition to her position as CFO, Schulte-Angels will also be responsible for IT, human resources, auditing and compliance as well as for foreign operations.
Most recently, the designated CFO worked as Managing Director and CFO at Intersport dealer Sport Voswinkel. The manager joined the Dortmund company in 2015. Previously, she gained experience in managerial positions at the Christ jewelery chain and the Douglas perfumery chain.
Until Schulte-Angels joined the Herford-based clothing group, CEO Stella Ahlers was responsible for the relevant areas of responsibility and was supported by Karsten Kölsch, the former CFO of Ahlers AG. Kölsch left Ahlers at his own request in November 2020 and handed over to Simon Tabler.
